JJ Aldrich vs. Veronica Hardy

Both JJ Aldrich and Veronica Hardy are on a two-fight winning streak in the UFC. Even though they had a tough time earlier with the promotion, they seem to have found momentum. Wrestling is a weak point for both fighters. Therefore, the fight would likely stay standing. The fight between the two would likely go the distance and Aldrich appeared to have more sting in her strikes. Hardy might steal the first round but Aldrich would likely come back strong in rounds 2 and 3. Hardy is a slight betting favorite but
the underdog would likely win the fight.

Official prediction: JJ Aldrich via decision (29-28)

Jake Hadley vs. Charles Johnson

The flyweight bout between Jake Hadley and Charles Johnson will be an exciting affair. Both have a common opponent in Cody Durden who defeated both via decision. Nonetheless, Hadley is a slight betting favorite over Johnson. The fight will likely go as the betting odds suggest. Even though Hadley is coming off a loss to Durden and Johnson is coming off a victory over Azat Maksum, Hadley would likely secure a finish against Johnson.

Official prediction: Jake Hadley via submission (round 2)

Billy Goff vs. Trey Waters

Billy Goff is on a seven-fight winning streak whereas Trey Waters is on a fight winning streak after his professional MMA loss to Gabriel Bonfim. Both fighters have a penchant for finishing their opponents. The welterweight bout has the potential to bag the Fight of the Night bonus but Waters might likely bag a Performance of the Night bonus. Goff won’t be able to hang with the pressure and power of his opponent.

Official prediction: Trey Waters via KO/TKO (round 2)

Tecia Pennington vs. Tabatha Ricci

The strawweight matchup is a classic old lion vs. young lion matchup. Pennington is coming off a long lay-off while Ricci has been making some noise in the division despite her recent setback. Both are similar in skillset but Ricci is younger and won’t have ring rust going into the fight. Pennington is tough to finish but would likely suffer some damage from the Brazilian.

Official prediction: Tabatha Ricci vis decision (30-27)

Terrance McKinney vs. Esteban Ribovics

Like Khamzat Chimaev, Terrance McKinney is one of the best first-round fighters in the UFC. He is on a two-fight winning streak, both in the first round. Esteban Ribovics is a good finisher himself but would lose a firefight against the American fighter. If the fight goes past round 1, the Argentinian would win but there is no chance of the fight going past round 1.

Official prediction: Terrance McKinney via KO/TKO (round 1)

Viacheslav Borshchev vs. Chase Hooper

The lightweight bout is a classic striker vs grappler matchup. Viacheslav Borshchev is a dynamic striker but has a glaring hole in wrestling. Nonetheless, he trains at the American Top Team and it is improving fight by fight. Chase Hooper is a very good grappler and would win the fight on the ground. However, Borshchev would not let the fight go to the ground. There is no way Hooper would win a striking battle against Borshchev.

Official prediction: Viacheslav Borshchev via KO/TKO (round 2)
