Rising amateur fighter Denisun Wise is ready to make a statement as he steps into the cage at 8 BFC 8 (British Fighting Championship 8) on October 18th, live and exclusively on MMA TV. Facing one of his toughest opponents yet, Wise will meet Musharraf Siddeek in a high-stakes super flyweight clash that promises non-stop action.
Speaking ahead of his fight, Wise opened up about his preparation and mindset going into the event:
“Well, this camp has been an interesting challenge for me, I’m stepping up by accepting a fight against an opponent with four times the experience I have. I’m against a guy who likes to grapple and hasn’t been finished in all of his fights, despite what his record says it really shouldn’t be an indicator of his quality, especially at amateur MMA. Records are for DJs.”
Despite being relatively new to the sport, Denisun Wise has already earned attention for his fearless attitude and willingness to test himself early in his career. With less than two years of training under his belt, he’s continuing to evolve as a fighter and is determined to showcase just how much progress he’s made.
“his fight is at super flyweight as I’m just adjusting to becoming a proper flyweight as I haven’t even reached two years of training yet. I’m not even a toddler in this game yet, I’m still In my crib. The game plan is simple… remain cool, find my openings and exploit them, it may be tougher because again he is no joke. My desired outcome is obviously to win but I would love to give him a smack in the face, preferably with a lot of power and have my hand raised.”
Known for his grit and personality, Wise isn’t shying away from the challenge against Siddeek, a durable and experienced grappler. He’s confident in his ability to keep the fight standing and dictate the pace.
“ Iknow he likes to take people down to the ground but I’ve shown in my last fight that it is hard to keep me down so we’ll see if he’ll manage to pull it off which I doubt. And then after I’ll stop being a fatty and stay at a proper walk around weight.”
Wise will be fighting away from home this time as he makes the trip from Leeds to Middlesbrough to compete at British Fighting Championship 8, a new and exciting challenge he’s ready to embrace.
“I’m really looking forward to fighting on BFC as it’s a different promotion this time in Middlesbrough. In my last fight, I had the privilege to compete in my home city of Leeds but travelling far out to Middlesbrough will be a new experience that I’m excited for..”
Fans can catch Denisun Wise vs. Musharraf Siddeek and the full stacked fight card live on October 18th, streaming exclusively on MMA TV.
