In the beginning, Cigánik took his opponent to the ground but didn't gain much from it. On the contrary, Halimson landed some unconventional knee strikes effectively from his back.

In the second round, we saw more striking action, where Cigánik effectively used his height advantage and nasty high kicks. Halimson, however, constantly threatened with unusual strikes – especially in the clinch, where he troubled "Cigo" with shoulder strikes.
