Attila KORKMAZ showed right from the first round that this wasn’t going to be another easy job for the surging ROCK. His solid stand-up and excellent takedown defense kept ROCK from launching any significant offense. Still, ROCK edged the first round with slightly more activity. From the opening seconds, it was clear we were watching a high-level chess match between two well-rounded and experienced fighters.

In the second round, ROCK found his ideal range, and KORKMAZ struggled to close the distance. In the end, the fight went the distance, and we saw a third straight decision victory. Shem was the better man in all three rounds and earned the biggest win of his career so far.

After the fight, he faced off with champion Keita inside the cage, though the champ didn’t seem too impressed by his performance.
